School Dinners

We are pleased to offer a healthy, school dinner menu at Upton Heath C of E Primary School with a daily choice of meals including a home cooked dish, locally sourced meat, vegetables and salad bar.

As is the case in all primary schools in Chester, children up to the end of key stage 1 are entitled to a free hot school meal every day.

For key stage 2, school cooked meals are provided at a cost of £16 per week (£3.20 per day).

Dinner money and snack is payable through our ParentPay system online. To find out if you are entitled to free school meals for your child, please contact the Free School Meal Service on 0300 123 7039.

If you prefer your child to have a packed lunch from home, please try to send a healthy lunch box (sweets, chocolate and fizzy drinks are strongly discouraged) in safe containers (no glass) and without nuts as we have a number of children with severe nut allergies.

Children in key stage 1 are given fruit and vegetables for their mid-morning snack. and milk is provided for any child under the age of 5 years old.
